CGS Orion SPY-1 Type S Wedge

introducing the SPY-1 Wedge Type-S,  currently CGS Orion Japan has two models of wedges the Type-G and Type-S.  The S features a rounder leading edge for a more traditional look at address while the G is very straight edged for a look that helps you visualize a straighter setup toward the target line.  This does not mean sharp leading edge it just refers to the shape of it.

CGS Orion offers wedges in 3 finishes RAW,  Satin, & Mirror the plated finished both have a copper underlay for a softer feel all three finishes are polished in Tsubame Sanjo.

Another difference between the S vs G wedges are the trailing edge grind + heel & toe relief the S is meant to be opened up and have the face manipulated for higher flop shots or a more delicate touch around the greens where the G is ideal for players who want to see it straight to the target,  have the club sit flat without tilting open and make contact for a straight shot most of the time.

This wedge is available in six lofts option: 46°, 48°, 50°, 52°, 56° and 58°

and this wedge comes as head only. but  TSG is able to custom build with any shaft and grip in Japan specs.
